Our stance

What we won't tell you

We won't tell you a product will "transform" your hair overnight, that a facial will cure a skin condition, or that any at-home trick replaces what a doctor or specialist can do. We won't push you to buy something you don't need, and we won't pretend every head, every nail bed, or every skin tone responds the same way to the same routine.

What we will tell you is what we've learned from thousands of hours of hands-on work: how braids actually hold up over six weeks, why gel polish lifts, and what a realistic skin routine looks like for someone who doesn't have time for ten steps. We'll tell you when something is normal and when it isn't. And when it isn't, we'll tell you to go see someone qualified — that's not us passing the buck, that's just what responsible beauty professionals do.

A quick but important note

Everything on this blog is general beauty guidance from working stylists and technicians, based on our own experience — it is not medical, dermatological, podiatric, or trichological advice, and it is not a diagnosis. We may be wrong for your particular situation. Please consult a licensed professional — a dermatologist, physician, podiatrist, trichologist, or licensed cosmetologist — before applying any of it, especially if you notice hair loss, scalp pain, irritation, infection, swelling, discoloration, or anything that isn't settling on its own. See our full disclaimer for details.
