Knotless installs, Fulani detail and freestyle pattern work. The one who will tell you, kindly, that the photo you brought isn't going to suit you — and then design something better.
What we hold ourselves to
Not marketing lines. These are the things you can hold us to, and tell us about if we miss.
01
If the photo you've brought needs more density than you have, or more length than your hair can carry without strain, we will say so — and then show you the closest thing that will genuinely suit you. A disappointed hour of conversation beats six weeks of a style you resent.
02
Tight is not the same as neat. Our braiders work on low-tension parting and clean sectioning, and if something is pulling, we want to hear it in the chair — not read it in a review. Say the word and we'll take it out and redo it.
03
Every appointment ends with a short, written care plan — wash rhythm, night routine, the two or three products that actually suit your texture, and the honest date by which the style should come out. On paper, and by email.
04
We are experienced stylists, not clinicians. If we see something that looks medical — thinning temples, an inflamed scalp, an infected nail, a skin condition — we will tell you plainly and send you to a dermatologist, physician or podiatrist. We would rather lose the booking than make it worse.
The studio
Braiding is a long appointment. We built the room for that reality: proper chairs, good light, somewhere to put your drink, a charger within reach, and no one hovering to move you along.
Children are welcome and expected. Partners waiting are welcome. Ask for a break whenever you need one — nobody here will make you feel awkward about it.
4700 Loyola Ln, Unit 106, Austin, TX 78723. In the Loyola Lane centre, east side of the building.
Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Sundays by appointment. Long installs start by 2:00 pm.

Who you'll meet
Braiders, a nail technician and a skin and beauty specialist — all of whom will happily explain what they're doing and why.

Knotless installs, Fulani detail and freestyle pattern work. The one who will tell you, kindly, that the photo you brought isn't going to suit you — and then design something better.

Builder gel, sculpted sets, careful soak-off removal and hand-painted art. Obsessive about prep, which is exactly why the sets hold.

Facials, brows, lashes and event makeup — with an honest line about what a cosmetic facial can and cannot do, and when a dermatologist is the right call.
Interested in joining us? We're always glad to hear from experienced braiders and technicians — write to the studio.
Kind words
“No headache, no tight edges — first time I've had knotless braids that still looked fresh in week six. And they showed me exactly how to wrap them at night.”

“I brought my daughter in nervous and she left asking when we're coming back. Gentle hands and so much patience with a nine-year-old.”

“Booked braids, ended up doing nails and a facial the same visit. The care plan they wrote out is on my fridge.”
